About Our Labels
Our labels are produced on a 1921 Chandler & Price letterpress in Chestertown, Maryland. The paper is American-made Crane & Co. paper and printed with inks made of real gold flecks. The labels provide the strength of character on par with the other worldly scents of Lodestone Candles.

Lodestone Candles are steeped in the nostalgia of luxe Americana. We search and research, then develop unique and sophisticated fragrance blends that inspire grounded escape with our luxury candles.
Each of our 100% soy candles is hand poured in small batches of nine. Our irresistible shelf presence is afforded by unique packaging. The labels are printed by hand on 100% cotton Crane & Co. paper using a 1921 Chandler & Price letterpress. This time-tested printing technique from the age of Gutenberg further compliments the luxe-americana theme of the line.
The heavy glass jars are made from recycled glass and are 100% recyclable. With the health of our customers in mind, our fragrances are all vetted to be phthalate free and California Prop 65 compliant.
We are praised time and again for our eco-friendly, green packaging. Each element of our product can either be recycled or is 100% compostable.

Meet our Founder
For most of my life I have been a nomad of sorts; born in Savannah, raised in Atlanta, studies in Paris and New Orleans, and work in Washington, DC. Once my wife and I settled on the Eastern Shore of Maryland the roaming continued. The Netherlands, Istanbul, back to Paris and many trips to Scotland continued to feed my desire to explore new places and search for new experiences – to escape the mundane. This collection is inspired by those who find joy in the unique and sophisticated.
